Exclusion of bats out of your home or office has to be done during spring or fall. August 15th to April 15th is the time period we are legally able to remove, net out, and exclude bats from your home. During this time we can also seal any entry points, fix any damage done and decontaminate your living space. Outside of these months we CAN NOT net the bats out or remove them. Bats can be either a blessing or a curse. On one hand, they kill flying insects such as mosquitoes that can be a nuisance to you. But if they take up residence in your home, they can get destructive quickly. While they may stay confined to your attic instead of invading your whole home, the urine and feces they leave behind where they roost can not only cause unsightly staining and a strong odor problem, but also can be detrimental to you and your loved ones health as the droppings are associated with dozens of diseases, including histoplasmosis (a lung disease caused by fungus spores in their droppings) and rabies.
Our staff at Critter and Pest Defense is fully trained, licensed and insured, and will work with you to figure out how the bats are getting into your home and the safest way to remove them. Our methods of removal are humane, and we use products that are environmentally friendly (and safe for you, your family, and your pets) to remove any unwanted stains and odors left by the pests. Our results are 100% guaranteed and we cannot wait to work with you to fulfill all your needs!
Our working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed Saturdays and Sundays, but you are welcome to leave us a phone message or send us an email any time. We promise we will get back to you as soon as possible.
